Panhandle Children Foundation
The Panhandle Children’s Foundation, Inc. (PCFI), was founded in 2003 to financially aid disabled, disadvantaged, or ill children throughout the surrounding area. These services are funded by donations from individuals, sponsors, and fundraisers.
In 2007 PCFI was gifted a 60 acre retreat facility, Talon Point, located 17 miles SW of Dumas, TX on FM 722. PCFI utilizes Talon Point to accommodate specialized camps for disabled and disadvantaged children.
We strive to retain both the diversity and flexibility to meet any type of need involving the children of our community and to meet those needs as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Examples of our services: Assistance with medical supplies (wheelchairs, feeding supplies, etc.), travel costs, hotel costs for hospital visits, and school supply drives.
